Gender Mainstreaming is a strategy that is constantly developing. Under www.genderkompetenz.info you can find information on policy fields and subject areas and on some of the main gender perspectives associated with them. They give a clear summary of the current state of research in Gender Studies and provide leads for more in-depth work on specialist issues. Our main area of interest is in the policy fields in which GM has to be implemented. In the subject areas, we take up in particular information from experts involved in research and consultation. The GenderCompetenceCenter is therefore part of a national and international network and initiates events where individual issues can be discussed.
